I fell in love with this gun the first time I pulled the trigger.
First step was to guess a scale and cut the core from insulation foam. It was a good size, so I started carving in the details.
Added dimension with more insulation foam. Found a foam ball at the thrift store that was perfect for the hemisphere in the ammo coil. I made the cylinders from craft foam and slushed some resin inside to hold their shape, then coated the outside with epoxy. All those gaps are filled in with Free-Form Air.
I made these coils with some rubber tubing with copper wire in the middle to hold their shape.
Shroud made from 3mm Sintra. This took a couple tries and templateing to get right, and I'm pretty happy with it other than where it covered up those nice tubes. Didn't check my reference enough!
Checking the side grip. Looks just like it does in game!
